FOOD DRIVE FOR THE HOUSE OF BREAD!
CODE Credit Union is collecting donations for the House of Bread now through the month of November. The House of Bread is a Dayton food pantry serving a hot meal 365 days a week to those in need. Not only do they supply a hot meal, but they also provide a welcoming place where everyone is accepted and appreciated. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant impact. Your generosity can help ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
Non-perishable foods can be dropped off at either of CODE’s locations, Monument Ave. or Englewood.
All non-perishable foods can be utilized, and also some non-food items. (Please no glass containers.) Some items the House of Bread is most in need of are:
- Pasta noodles and sauce
- Rice
- Peanut butter and jelly
- Canned soup
- Corn bread mix
- Baby wipes
- Baby diapers
- Coloring books and crayons
- Healthy portable snacks, such as goldfish or raisins
- Soap and shower gel
